Terms & Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms
By registering, purchasing, downloading, or using OriPOS software or the oripos.cloud platform ("Service"), you ("Customer") agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
2. License Grant
CyberOrion grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the OriPOS software on the single device to which your license key is bound. The license is valid for the subscription period you have purchased (Weekly, Monthly, Yearly, or Enterprise). You may not sublicense, resell, or redistribute the software.
3. License Keys & Device Binding
Each license key (format:
ORIPOS-XXXX-XXXX) is bound to the hardware ID of your device at the time of first activation. Activating the same key on a different device without prior written authorisation from CyberOrion is a breach of these Terms and will result in immediate license revocation. Device transfers must be requested via support.
4. Subscription & Renewal
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled before the renewal date. Upon expiry, the software enters a grace period (3 days for Weekly, 7 days for Monthly/Yearly, 30 days for Enterprise). After the grace period, the software will stop functioning until renewed. Prices are in Pakistani Rupees (PKR) and are subject to change with 14 days' notice.
5. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software.
- Copy, clone, or distribute the software or license key to unauthorised machines.
- Use the software for any unlawful purpose under the laws of Pakistan.
- Attempt to bypass, disable, or circumvent license verification or device binding mechanisms.
- Use the software to process transactions that violate applicable financial regulations.
6. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in the OriPOS software, platform, branding, and documentation remain exclusively with CyberOrion. These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you. Refer to the Ownership Statement for full details.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". CyberOrion makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted operation. We do not guarantee that the software will be error-free or that data loss will not occur.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CyberOrion's total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 30 days preceding the claim. CyberOrion is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages including loss of revenue, data, or goodwill.
9. Termination
CyberOrion may suspend or terminate your license immediately and without notice if you breach these Terms. Upon termination you must cease all use of the software. Provisions relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitations of liability survive termination.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
